The Moroccan defense industry is taking a new step forward. The local subsidiary of the Indian company Metlonics has announced the production of twenty hulls for the WhAP 8x8 armored vehicles, assembled near Casablanca for the Royal Armed Forces.

This industrial advancement is taking place within the facilities of Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) located in Berrechid. According to the official press releases from Metlonics Morocco, this major milestone follows the successful delivery of the first five vehicles a few months ago, confirming the stabilization of the assembly line and the expansion of local participation.

The initial acquisition program plans to deliver a total of 150 infantry combat vehicles.
