Luxury Car Theft in Tangier Turns Violent, Owner Stabbed as Police Hunt Gang

The security services in Tangier are trying to apprehend the members of a gang who stole a luxury car in the Plaza Toro neighborhood on Tuesday evening. The vehicle owner was violently assaulted with a knife.
According to sources cited by Al3omk, a man in his thirties was the victim of the theft of his luxury car. Individuals on board a second vehicle surrounded him, seriously injuring him in the back with knife blows. The victim was taken to the emergency room of the Mohammed V regional hospital, before being transferred to the military hospital in Rabat.
The judicial police of the Tangier police prefecture have opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident. The images from the surveillance cameras installed in the houses adjacent to the place of the assault are being exploited.
Sources close to the investigation indicate that the incident could be related to a settling of scores between the victim and his assailants.
