French Muslim Convert Stabbed at Moroccan Mausoleum in Fez

A Frenchman living in Morocco and converted to Islam was the victim of a knife attack within the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. The suspect was arrested by the police elements of the prefecture of Fez.
While he was sitting inside the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss reciting the Quran, a 49-year-old Frenchman, who has been living in Fez for years after his conversion to Islam, was attacked with a knife by an individual, reports Aljarida24. He comes out with a deep wound to the neck. Admitted to the emergency department of the Hassan II University Hospital Center, he receives the necessary care.
Shortly afterwards, the police elements of the prefecture of Fez arrested the alleged aggressor. He is a 53-year-old man who suffers from mental disorders. After his arrest, he was taken to the psychiatric services of the Ibn El Hassan hospital in Fez, where he underwent a psychiatric evaluation.
