Liverpool Eyes Moroccan Midfielder Amrabat in £40M Summer Transfer Bid
Several European clubs like Liverpool continue to be interested in Sofyan Amrabat. The English club is eagerly awaiting the summer transfer window to sign the Moroccan midfielder.
Liverpool’s crushing defeat against Real Madrid (2-5) on Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 has revealed the flaws in the English team, which is looking to recruit Sofyan Amrabat to be more efficient next season. German coach Jürgen Klopp would have asked to sign the Moroccan midfielder playing for Fiorentina for 40 million euros, reports Fichajes.
The 26-year-old player, who has already played 2,136 minutes in 31 Serie A matches this season, could seize this opportunity. During the January transfer window, Fiorentina had refused to let their Moroccan prodigy, who was one of the revelations of the World Cup in Qatar with Morocco, leave for FC Barcelona. Since his performance at the World Cup, several European clubs want to snatch the Moroccan midfielder. Appointment at the next summer transfer window.
