Atlético Madrid Renews Pursuit of World Cup Star Amrabat as Kondogbia Replacement
Sofyan Amrabat remains one of the top priorities for Atlético Madrid, who are looking for a defensive midfielder to fill the potential departure of Geoffroy Kondogbia.
Atlético Madrid is still interested in Sofyan Amrabat and hopes to recruit the Moroccan player during the next summer transfer window for the 2023/2024 season. The Spanish club sees Amrabat as the ideal player to replace Geoffrey Kondogbia who is on his way out. The 26-year-old Moroccan international was one of the revelations at the World Cup in Qatar, recalls Fichajes.
In addition to Atlético, several clubs like Liverpool and Barcelona are interested in the Fiorentina midfielder, who should greatly benefit from Amrabat’s transfer. Atlético has offered a bid of nearly 40 million euros to sign the Moroccan player, whose transfer would be one of the most remarkable for the 2023/2024 season.
