Kushner to Visit Middle East and Europe, Fueling Peace Plan Speculation

Jared Kushner will embark this week on a journey that will take him to Rabat, Amman and Jerusalem. The son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, and in charge of the Israeli-Palestinian peace plan, has not revealed the purpose of these various trips.
Even though we do not yet know the details of the objectives of these various trips by the President’s son-in-law, we could at least note that he will be accompanied by his right-hand man Jason Greenblatt as well as the US envoy for Iran, Brian Hook.
After Morocco, Jordan and Israel, Kushner, who is in charge of the Israeli-Palestinian peace plan, will head to Montreux, Switzerland, as well as to London. Here, in particular, he will take part in the state visit of President Donald Trump to the United Kingdom.
On June 25 and 26, on the occasion of a conference to be held in Manama, the Americans will precisely unveil the economic component of the Israeli-Palestinian peace plan. We could therefore understand this trip by Kushner as part of a final overview with the various stakeholders involved or likely to play an important role in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
One thing is certain, the Palestinian Authority had announced that it would not participate in this Manama conference. It should be remembered that the Palestinians have been boycotting the US administration for almost two years now. For a reason they consider to be major: "Donald Trump broke with decades of consensus by recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in December 2017."
