Trump Adviser Kushner Meets Morocco’s King to Discuss Middle East Peace Plan

King Mohammed VI invited the son-in-law of the American president, Jared Kushner, to a ftour at the royal palace in Rabat. The latter arrived on Tuesday in Morocco, as part of a tour that will take him to Jordan and Israel.
The White House adviser had discussions during the day with the Moroccan sovereign on the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States, as well as the changes and developments taking place in the North Africa and Middle East region.
The visit of Donald Trump’s adviser comes ahead of the peace conference, scheduled for June 25 and 26 in Bahrain, where the United States will have to unveil the economic component of the Israeli-Palestinian peace plan.
The Manama conference will not see the participation of the Palestinian authorities, knowing that the American administration has been boycotted by the Palestinians since Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in 2017.
Jared Kushner, who will have to achieve the "ultimate agreement" between Israel and Palestine, is accompanied on this tour by his right-hand man Jason Greenblatt and the American envoy for Iran Brian Book.
In this context, the American administration is seeking to restore peace between Israel and Palestine, by encouraging investment in the Palestinian territories. The advisor’s visit aims to rally states, including Arab ones, to this latest American plan.
