King Mohammed VI Tours Rabat Neighborhoods Amid Urban Renewal Project

A few days after his return from a private trip to the United Arab Emirates, King Mohammed VI was spotted in Rabat in the afternoon on Monday.
King Mohammed VI was spotted in the afternoon on Monday, walking in a black car, followed by a vehicle of the same color belonging to his bodyguards, reports Rue20. He traveled in the Yaâcoub Al Mansour district, taking the Al Kifah avenue towards the Atlantic Ocean. This visit amounts to an inspection of several neighborhoods of the capital, which are undergoing a profound restructuring as part of the "Rabat, Capital of Lights" program.
After several weeks spent in the United Arab Emirates as part of a private visit, King Mohammed VI arrived in Rabat last Friday. During his private stay, he was received by Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
