King Mohammed VI Pardons Over 400 Prisoners on Morocco’s Youth Day

King Mohammed VI granted, on the occasion of the Feast of Youth, his pardon to 443 people convicted by various courts of the Kingdom.
These people who have benefited from the royal pardon are divided as follows: 317, in detention, 1, pardoned from all his sentences and 316 cases of reduction of imprisonment.
As for the beneficiaries of the royal pardon who are at liberty, they number 126 people divided as follows:
• Pardon on the prison sentence or its balance in favor of 29 people
• Pardon on the prison sentence with maintenance of the fine for 6 people
• Pardon on the prison and fine sentences in favor of 7 people
• Pardon on the fine sentence in favor of 84 people.
