King Mohammed VI Pardons 300 Convicts for Eid Al Mawlid Celebration

King Mohammed VI has granted pardon to persons in detention and at liberty convicted by various courts of the Kingdom as part of the celebration of the Eid Al Mawlid. In total, 300 people are the beneficiaries.
"On the occasion of Eid Moulid Annabaoui, this year 1441 H- 2019 G, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God perpetuate His glory, has been pleased to grant His pardon to a group of persons convicted by various courts of the Kingdom, these persons number 300," says the Ministry of Justice in a press release.
In detail, 109 detainees and 191 persons at liberty benefit from the royal pardon. In the latter batch, 36 persons are pardoned for the prison sentence or its remainder, 10 persons for the prison sentence with the fine maintained, 3 persons for the prison sentences and fines, and finally 142 persons for the prison sentences and fines.
