King Mohammed VI Grants Pardon to 979 Prisoners for Eid al-Adha

Nearly 1,000 people (979 exactly), some of whom are in detention and others at liberty, convicted by various courts of the Kingdom, have been pardoned by King Mohammed VI, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. Here are the details:
The beneficiaries of the Royal Pardon who are in detention number 834 inmates, distributed as follows:
• Pardon on the remainder of the prison or imprisonment sentence in favor of 09 inmates.
• Remission of the prison or imprisonment sentence in favor of 818 inmates.
• Commutation of the life sentence to a fixed-term sentence in favor of 07 inmates.
The beneficiaries of the Royal Pardon who are at liberty number 134 people, distributed as follows:
• Pardon on the prison sentence or its remainder in favor of 21 people.
• Pardon on the prison sentence with maintenance of the fine in favor of 07 people.
• Pardon on the fine sentence in favor of 104 people.
• Pardon on the prison and fine sentence in favor of 02 people.
