King Mohammed VI Displeased with Football Complex Management over Treatment of Former Star

During the inauguration of the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé, the Sovereign did not appreciate the reaction of the former Minister of Sports, Moncef Belkhayat, regarding the former glory of national football, Mohamed Timoumi.
When asked whether Timoumi, who was leaning on a pair of crutches, had been able to benefit from the services of the Sports Complex chaired by Moncef Belkhayat, the latter had answered in the negative, creating a confusing situation.
According to the rue20 website, Mohammed VI’s reaction could herald imminent changes at the head of this football body, which had originally been created to assist former champions.
On December 9th last, the Sovereign had inaugurated, in Maâmora, the largest football complex in Africa, in the presence of several political and sports personalities.
