Kickboxing Star Badr Hari Hints at Retirement, Glory Future Uncertain

Has Badr Hari really hung up his gloves? Just after the end of his fight against Alistair Overeem, the kickboxer had announced to the public that he was seriously considering retiring. But he has not yet informed Glory.
Yes: it is not impossible that we could see Badr Hari back in the ring! Admittedly, the person concerned recently declared to the public of the GelreDome that he was seriously considering ending his career and that he would probably not return.
"Guys, I’m seriously thinking about ending my career. I started a while ago, I’ve faced the best, I think I don’t have much more to prove. The guys who came here tonight for me, I really wanted to thank you. All these years, every time you were there to support me. I have loyal fans and I find myself in the presence of two super guys (editor’s note: Rico Verhoeven and Alistair Overeem)," Hari had said after the fight.
When questioned about this announcement, the CEO of GLORY said: "I spoke to him on Sunday morning. He wants a little time to think about it and that’s very good. There are a lot of high-level athletes who come back stronger after such a period. We respect his choices and hope he will continue."
And to add: "It’s not surprising that he is considering retiring given his recent defeats. He lost most of these fights due to a bad game plan or minor mistakes. I therefore understand his frustration."
