Kickboxing Star Badr Hari Hints at Comeback: Training Resumes with Former Coach

The Moroccan-Dutch kickboxer Badr Hari, who announced his retirement after his recent defeat against Alistair Overeem, could make a comeback in the ring.
"If I don’t see you again, thank you for everything," Badr Hari had said after the fight against Alistair Overeem at the Gelredome. But the Moroccan-Dutch kickboxer has recently been spotted training in a gym belonging to his former coach Mike Passenier, suggesting to sports journalist Lars van Soest that he has not completely hung up his gloves.
"It’s true, Badr asked if he could train with me and I didn’t see any problem with that," confirmed his former trainer, Mike Passenier, to the journalist, specifying that this does not necessarily mean that Hari is considering a comeback.
Van Soest believes that the kickboxer may have ended his career, but that he wants to fight one last time under the direction of his former trainer. When asked if Passenier would train Badr Hari if the latter wished to return to the ring, the trainer said that he would first need to discuss it with Hari.
