Glory Kickboxing Hopes Badr Hari Will Reconsider Retirement Decision

Badr Hari will always be able to get back in the ring. This is at least the wish of the Glory organization, which says it has given the Moroccan kickboxer some time to reconsider his decision to definitively stop fighting.
A real cash machine for Glory, Badr Hari is hesitating to definitively stop fighting. The Moroccan fighter’s last appearance in the ring suggested that he was retiring from competition. But he may change his mind, which is what the organization hopes.
Badr Hari has not won a fight since 2015 and each return to the ring is a source of frustration first for him but especially for his fans. This is probably what prompted the Moroccan to consider hanging up his gloves. He had already hinted at it during the pre-fight interview against Alistair Overeem, and he reiterated it just after his defeat. "I’m seriously thinking of ending my career. Thank you all. I don’t know if you’ll see me in the ring again," he had said, visibly moved and to the applause.
For his part, the CEO of Glory keeps a glimmer of hope. "It’s not surprising that Badr Hari wants to stop. I talked to him and it’s clear he wants some time to think. We respect his choices and hope he’ll come back to the ring. We don’t plan a farewell match. And it’s not a problem for us that he takes his time."
