Former Moroccan PM Slams French Language Education Law, Urges Party Leader to Resign

The former Secretary General of the Party of Justice and Development (PJD), Abdelilah Benkirane , in his latest outing, argued that the PJD’s favorable vote on law 51-17, which considers French as a language of instruction, is "a serious mistake". He called on his successor, Saâd-Eddine El Othmani, who is in favor of the project, to resign if he believes that the votes will be contrary to the party’s vision.
