Former Moroccan PM Benkirane: "Islam Not a Magic Solution" to Societal Problems

Abdelillah Benkirane, former Secretary General of the Party of Justice and Development (PJD), declared that "Islam is not a magic solution" to the problems faced by Man, to the project of wealth or positions.
At the funeral of the first president of the PJD Youth, Bouslam Mamadi, Abdelillah Benkirane, the future Friday preacher, teaches religious morality. He invited PJD members to display a disinterest in positions and gains, as any violation of this principle is a cult of the devil. According to the Islamist leader and former head of government, it is not a question of positions but rather of "uprightness, integrity and the defense of institutions," reports Article19.ma.
"He was the calm man, the good and the almost unknown." These are the qualities that Abdelillah Benkirane recognizes in his now former ally and friend, Bouslam Mamadi. According to him, he had known the deceased in the popular youth sponsored by El Khatib.
Last Wednesday, Bousslam Mamadi did not survive a surgical procedure in a clinic in Rabat. He was president of the PJD youth, formerly the Party of the Democratic Constitutional Popular Movement founded in 1974.
