Israel’s Defense Minister Extends Wishes to Morocco’s King on Throne Anniversary

On the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of King Mohammed VI’s accession to the throne, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz sent his wishes to the sovereign and the Moroccan people.
"I would like to congratulate His Majesty King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of his accession to the Throne. I wish the King every success in continuing the legacy of his ancestors. May the Kingdom of Morocco prosper," Benny Gantz wrote in a message posted on his Twitter account.
This year, King Mohammed VI has decided to cancel all activities, festivities and ceremonies planned for the Throne Feast due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The sovereign will therefore not preside over the ceremony of receiving the swearing-in ceremony of the graduating officers from the various military, paramilitary and civilian schools and institutes, the ceremony of allegiance to Amir Al-Mouminine, and all the parades and demonstrations attended by a large number of citizens. He will address a speech to the Moroccan people tomorrow, Saturday, July 31.
