Macron Praises Morocco’s COVID Response in Message to King Mohammed VI
On the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of King Mohammed VI’s accession to the throne, the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, sent his best wishes and sincere congratulations to the sovereign and the Moroccan people.
"As the world is going through a difficult situation marked by the health crisis, Morocco has demonstrated its resilience by managing the Covid-19 vaccination campaign efficiently, under Your Majesty’s leadership, and then by announcing a recovery plan and the implementation of major reforms," the President writes in a message.
Emmanuel Macron notes that the King’s reign has also been marked by the strengthening of the exceptional partnership between Morocco and France, expressing the hope that the partnership between the two countries, in the continuity of their history, will continue to flourish and become ever closer.
