Macron Reaffirms France-Morocco Ties in Message to King Mohammed VI

French President Emmanuel Macron also sent a congratulatory message to King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of his accession to the Throne.
Speaking in his own name and on behalf of the French people, Emmanuel Macron warmly congratulated the king and expressed to him as well as to the Moroccan people, wishes of prosperity and health. "I also take this opportunity to reiterate my attachment to deepening, with Your Majesty, the exceptional partnership that binds our two countries. This is based on the historical ties of friendship between our two peoples, a solid and lasting foundation, and is full of vast opportunities that upcoming high-level events will allow to develop," writes the French President.
He also stressed the need for Morocco and France to ensure the strengthening of the bilateral relations that bind them after the long period of the pandemic, during which the Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of the king, "has shown remarkable resilience and responsiveness".
