Israeli Defense Minister Extends Eid al-Adha Wishes to Morocco's King and People

On the occasion of the celebration of Eid al-Adha, Benny Gantz, the Israeli Minister of Defense, addressed his wishes to King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people.

"Today (Friday, July 8, editor’s note), I spoke with my friend, the Delegate Minister to the Head of Government in charge of National Defense Administration H.E. Abdellatif Loudiyi, to wish him and the Moroccan nation a blessed Eid al-Adha. May this celebration bring blessings of joy and prosperity to His Majesty the King and the entire Kingdom of Morocco," wrote Benny Gantz in a message posted on his Twitter account.

The Israeli official also welcomed the military cooperation between Israel and Morocco. "Over the past year, our defense ties have expanded and deepened, and interpersonal relations have flourished," he said. "Our partnership directly contributes to regional peace and stability and the security of our two nations."

It should be noted that three Israeli military observers recently participated for the first time in exercises in Morocco. On a working visit to Morocco in late November 2021, Benny Gantz and his Moroccan counterpart, Abdellatif Loudiyi, had signed several agreements aimed at strengthening military cooperation between the two countries.
