Morocco’s King Mohammed VI to Address Nation on 22nd Anniversary of Reign

The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced that as part of the celebration of the 22nd anniversary of his accession to the throne, King Mohammed VI will address a speech to his people on Saturday evening.
This speech will be broadcast on radio and television on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 9:00 PM, the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery said in a statement.
The Throne Feast in Morocco is a national event celebrated on July 30 of each year and to which Moroccans are very attached given its traditional and solemn character.
Usually it is a celebration made up of several official and popular ceremonies. But due to the health crisis and the evolution of the epidemiological situation in recent weeks, the king decided to postpone all festivities, ceremonies and activities.
