Intoxicated Suspects Arrested in Casablanca After Violent Rampage with Bladed Weapons

Two police officers operating in the Errahma security district in Casablanca were forced to draw their weapons to apprehend three individuals aged between 19 and 36 on Monday. They were in a state of high impulsivity and exposed citizens and police officers to a serious and dangerous threat with the use of bladed weapons.
In a statement, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicates that the suspects, who were in an advanced state of intoxication, sowed chaos and caused material damage to a parked truck in Casablanca, which required the intervention of the nearest police patrol to apprehend them.
During their arrest, the suspects fiercely resisted with bladed weapons, forcing the police officers to brandish their service weapons in a preventive manner, the same source explains. The bladed weapons used in this assault were seized, the DGSN specifies.
Pending the determination of all the facts they are accused of, the defendants have been placed in custody.
