Inmate Accused of Murdering Grandparents Found Dead in Nador Prison

An individual died by hanging in the toilets of the local Salouane prison in Nador using his shirt, on Friday, June 19. He was incarcerated for the alleged murder of his grandparents.
Elements of the Royal Gendarmerie arrived at the scene of the tragedy and an investigation has been opened, reports Hespress. According to the same source, the prisoner would have "admitted to committing the murder" of his two grandparents and assaulting his relatives for reasons hitherto unknown.
On Sunday, June 14, the deceased had killed his two grandparents and injured two other women in the Rif locality of El Aroui before being arrested two days later. After admitting the facts, the alleged murderer was incarcerated in the local Salouane prison in Nador where he will take his own life just before his trial.
