Infant in Critical Condition After Family’s Egg-Related Food Poisoning in Tangier
A family of three people was rushed to the Mohammed V Hospital in Tangier following a food poisoning incident. They had just consumed spoiled eggs.
More people victims of food poisoning. A couple and their child under one year old were poisoned after consuming a breakfast including spoiled eggs. Feeling stomach pains followed by severe vomiting, they were admitted to the emergency department of the Mohammed V Hospital in Tangier. Appropriate care was provided to the patients. They underwent thorough medical examinations and emergency first aid measures.
While the condition of the parents is stable, that of the child is still critical. He was placed under medical supervision. Despite the stability of his health condition, the couple will also have to remain under observation for a certain time to ensure their full recovery.
An investigation should be conducted to determine the source of the spoiled eggs.
