Some 20 children participating in a camp in the coastal region of Azla, on the outskirts of Tetouan, were victims of food poisoning on Friday after consuming sandwiches in a fast food restaurant.
The children showed signs of poisoning after dining at this fast food establishment and were rushed to the Saniat Rmel Hospital in Tetouan to receive the necessary care, according to local sources.
The minors were taken care of as soon as they arrived at the hospital and are safe and sound, the same sources said, adding that no cases of complications have been reported. An investigation has been opened to determine the causes of this poisoning and take measures against this restaurant.
