Hundreds Gather in Morocco for Annual Jewish Hilloula Celebration

A day of festivities on Saturday evening in Toulal in the province of Midelt. Members of the Jewish community came from all over the world to celebrate the Hilloula of Rabbi Itshak Abihssira.
A real moment of reunion between Moroccans of the Jewish faith, this year’s Hilloula saw the participation of many members of the Jewish community in Morocco and abroad. This annual celebration also allows participants to organize a fundraising campaign to maintain the mausoleum of Rabbi Itshak Abihssira.
This year, the ceremony was attended by the governor of the province of Midelt, Mustapha Ennouhi, some local elected officials, representatives of the local authorities, several heads of external services and civil and military personalities.
