Heavy Snowfall Closes Multiple Roads in Morocco’s Ifrane and Midelt Provinces

Due to heavy snowfall recorded on Friday, several roads in the provinces of Ifrane and Midelt have been completely or partially closed by local authorities. The details.
In an information bulletin on the state of the roads, published on their Facebook pages, the directorates of equipment, transport and logistics of Ifrane and Midlet indicated that significant snowfall has led to the closure of several roads.
Thus, in the province of Ifrane, regional roads No. 707 and No. 7231, connecting Ifrane and Boulemane and Ifrane and Hebri via Michlifen respectively, have been closed to traffic. This is also the case for national road No. 13 connecting Azrou and Tamehdit towards Midelt.
In Midelt, regional road No. 7319 connecting Akdem and Imilchil has been closed for the same reasons. Similarly, national road No. 13 is closed between Tamehdit and Ait Oufella. As for national road No. 29 connecting Boumia and Aghbalou, it is open to light vehicles and closed to trailers. However, the section connecting Midelt and Er-Rich remains open.
