Hit Radio Expands: $3 Million Headquarters Unveiled as TV Licenses Await

While awaiting the issuance of its licenses to officially launch its five private television channels, the management of the 100% music station, Hit Radio, now a major media group, plans to move to new premises in Rabat next November.
According to the CEO of Hit Radio, the inauguration of the new premises, which cost $3 million, is scheduled for November. "After six months of delay in the work, we are finally in the finalization phase and will be ready for the inauguration of the site at the beginning of November," he said.
Without expressing it out loud, the wait for the allocation of the licenses requested in 2014 for the five television channels seems long, in the eyes of the CEO: "We are still waiting for the licenses for the new televisions to be granted," explains Younes Boumehdi.
For now, he prefers not to move too fast by announcing a precise date for this event, even if, according to Hit Radio’s forecasts, the launch of the 5 channels should take place during the third quarter of 2020.
