Helicopter Service to Resume 10-Minute Flights Between Spain and Morocco

The Spanish airline Hélity plans to soon relaunch its helicopter service between the cities of Tangier and Algeciras. Started in 2017, it has transported around 18,000 passengers.
This company, based in Ceuta, will once again offer regular helicopter flights between Algeciras and Tangier.
It already operates lines between Ceuta and Algeciras, as well as between Malaga and Melilla. The crossing time between the two intercontinental cities will only take 10 minutes.
To this end, the border police have already installed cabins at the Andalusian heliport so that all the delicate immigration and customs controls can be carried out before each flight.
However, for the time being, no precise date has been set for the inaugural flight, according to the local press. Pending the launch of this project, the only route used between the two cities is the ferry crossing, which takes nearly an hour.
