A regular helicopter line between Algeciras (Spain) and Tangier and Tetouan (Morocco) should soon be established.
The city of Algeciras will be connected to Tangier starting in September and then to Tetouan later by a regular helicopter line of Hélity Copter Airlines, reports Cadena Ser. Information confirmed by the CEO of the company, Antonio Barranco. The line is "pending the declaration of the Algeciras heliport as a Schengen external border," said the official.
Based in Ceuta, the Spanish company Hélity already operates flights between Algeciras-Ceuta.
