Trasmediterránea Boosts Fleet for Algeciras-Tanger Med Route in 2022 Marhaba Operation

The shipping company Trasmediterránea has presented its fleet plan for the Marhaba Operation 2022. Three ships are planned to serve the route between Algeciras and Tanger Med.
The ships Juan J. Sister, Ciudad de Málaga and Volcán de Tauce will operate on the Algeciras-Tanger Med line as part of the Marhaba Operation 2022, Trasmediterránea announced, intending to increase its fleet capacity by 7% compared to the 2019 edition.

The ship Ciudad de Ceuta will serve the high-speed Algeciras-Ceuta line, while the ships Volcán de Tamasite and Volcán de Tamadaba will be assigned to the Almeria-Nador line. The ship Volcán de Timanfaya will be in charge of the Motril-Al Hoceima line and the ship Almariya will serve the Almería-Melilla and Almería-Orán lines. The ship Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, for its part, will be on the Almería-Melilla and Almería-Ghazaouet lines.
As for the ship Ciudad de Ibiza, it will remain all summer in the Canary Islands, as reinforcement on the eastern lines. The shipping company reminds passengers of the strict observance of health measures, both in the boarding areas and during the journeys.
