Algeciras Port Prepares for Surge in Moroccan Travelers as Marhaba 2022 Operation Begins

Algeciras fears an influx of travelers for the Marhaba Operation 2022 which starts on June 15, after two years of cancellation. The Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA) and the city authorities have put in place a system to manage this significant flow of passengers.
This system establishes that the so-called exit phase will take place from June 15 to August 15 and the return phase, from July 15 to September 15. During the steering committee meeting held last Wednesday, a 10% increase in the number of vehicles is expected. On the Moroccan side, the Marhaba Operation was launched on Sunday in the ports of Tanger-Med, Tanger-Ville, Al Hoceima and Nador, reports La Informacion.
