Heavy Snowfall Traps 7 Teachers in Morocco’s Midelt Region, All Rescued

The heavy snowfall that hit the Imilchil region in Midelt trapped nine people, including 7 teachers. They were rescued by the emergency teams mobilized for this purpose.
More fear than harm. Invited by the regional directorate to attend a training, the seven teachers rented a vehicle to respond to the invitation. Unfortunately, they were trapped en route on rough terrain with the driver and his apprentice. Alerted, the local authorities called on the vigilance committee, which went to their rescue.
According to Hespress, the governor of the Midelt region supervised the entire operation by phone, insisting that the victims be rescued quickly before the situation worsened. He also wished that the population be informed of the weather conditions so that they can take the necessary precautions. He also pleaded to support the people trapped by the snow and the families affected by the cold wave.
