Heavy Snowfall and Strong Winds Expected in Multiple Moroccan Provinces

Heavy snowfall above 1,700 m and locally strong gusts of wind are expected from Thursday to Friday in several provinces of the Kingdom, the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) has just warned.
Thus, locally significant snowfall (10 to 30 cm) is expected from this Thursday at 6:00 p.m. until Friday at 6:00 p.m. in the provinces of Ifrane, Boulemane, Guercif, Taza and Sefrou, the DGM said in this orange level alert.
During the same period, locally strong gusts of wind, with speeds ranging from 75 to 90 km/h, will affect the provinces of Driouch, Nador, Berkane, Jerada, Figuig, Boulmane and Midelt on Friday from 00:00 to 23:00, it is also specified.
