Heavy Rains and Snow Forecast for Multiple Regions in Morocco

Several regions of Morocco will be hit by heavy rains from Monday at 8pm until Tuesday at noon. The announcement was made by the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN), which took the opportunity to urge the population to take all appropriate measures.
According to the press release from the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN), the provinces concerned are Driouch, Nador, Oujda-Angad, Berkane, Taourirt, Taza and Jerada. Occasionally strong gusts of wind, also at the Orange level, are expected on Monday between noon and 8pm in Figuig, Errachidia, Zagora, Midelt, Tinghir and Ouarzazate, the same source specifies.
The special weather bulletin from the DMN also announces snowfall, which can reach 5 to 10 cm on heights of more than 1,800 from Monday at 10pm until Tuesday at midnight, in the provinces of Ifrane, Azilal, Beni Mellal and Midelt.
