Orange Alert: Morocco Braces for Snow and Cold Snap in Multiple Provinces

Orange weather alert. Snow showers and cold weather are expected in the kingdom from Friday to Sunday in several provinces of the country. The National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) announced this on Wednesday, urging the population to take precautions.
The prefectures and provinces of Boulemane, Guercif, Ifrane, Khénifra, Midelt, Sefrou and Taza are the ones affected by these orange level snowfalls.
The DMN, in a special bulletin, also spoke of cold weather with minimum temperatures ranging from 4 to 0 degrees and maximum temperatures varying between 2 and 7 degrees, in Al Haouz, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Boulemane, Feguig, Guercif, Ifrane, Midelt, Taza and Tinghir, according to the same source.
According to lavieeco.com which displays the information, Al Hoceima, Khémisset, Errachidia, Taroudant, Taourirt, Taounate, Jerada, Khouribga, Driouch, Rehamna, Zagoura, Chefchaouen, Fqih Bensaleh, Meknès, Moulay Yaâcoub, Oujda-Angad, and Ouarzazate will also be submerged by the cold with minimum temperatures ranging from 0 to 4 degrees and maximum temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees.
