Health Risks Exposed: Unregulated Beauty Treatments in Agadir Salons Raise Concerns

Hair and beauty salons, centers of beauty par excellence, can become risky places for the female population of Agadir. They receive inappropriate medical care that outrages health professionals.
Dermatologist Ghita Guennouni Assimi denounced this situation, which can prove dangerous for women who trust these beauty professionals. They offer services beyond their competence.
In an interview with Le360, she stated that she had received patients who had suffered the consequences of these practices that do not comply with medical standards. In her testimony, she accuses the eyebrow microblading, popular in hair and beauty salons. "But the problem is when customers are not satisfied with the result and decide to get a tattoo. The damage is then enormous."
The dermatologist presented the complications caused by these practices on the health of patients, which unfortunately cannot be treated. "Are these means certified? Are patients being monitored," she worried.
As for Sofia Azzaoui, owner of a hair and beauty salon, she admits that some of her colleagues excel in advising beauty care to customers. The aesthetics professional claims to have challenged some of them while reproaching them for their lack of training.
Faced with this "incongruous" situation, the Association of Dermatology and Venereology Specialists of the South denounced this phenomenon while demanding that the competent authorities and the supervisory ministry put an end to these illegal practices.
