Hakimi Outshines Vinicius in PSG’s Champions League Clash, Says Lebœuf

Even though he did not score against Real Madrid, Achraf Hakimi showed all his qualities during the first leg of the Champions League round of 16. This is the opinion of Franck Lebœuf, former French international.
In an interview with the ESPN channel, the former French player commented on the performance of the Moroccan international Hakimi. For him, the player is at an impressive level. "He is one of the best in the world, if not the best in his position," Franck Lebœuf confided. "We thought Vinicius was fast, but Hakimi was faster. In two minutes, he proved to Vinicius that the next 90 minutes would be very complicated," he enthused.
What most amazed the former French defender is the professionalism with which Hakimi committed himself to PSG, after Morocco’s defeat at the CAN. "He is absolutely fantastic. Barely back from the Africa Cup of Nations, he proved to the world how talented he is. He pushed the Brazilian to defend, since he was also attacking," concluded Franck Lebœuf.
