Gibraltar Police Arrest Belgian-Moroccan Drug Kingpin Wanted Internationally

The Gibraltar border police arrested a Belgian drug trafficker who also holds Moroccan nationality. The 53-year-old man was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by Morocco.
The man was identified during a border control in Gibraltar. He had the intention of visiting his family.
The identification process revealed that he was wanted in Morocco for his involvement in drug trafficking networks.
His report was drawn up pending the extradition procedure to Morocco, which should be decided by the justice system.
