Moroccan Drug Kingpin Arrested at Spanish Airport on International Warrant

A Moroccan national was arrested last Thursday by police officers at Malaga airport. The 48-year-old man was wanted by Morocco, which had issued an international arrest warrant against him for drug trafficking.
He was identified during a border control. Once his identity was confirmed, he was arrested and taken to the police station.
According to the judicial requisition, the fugitive was wanted in Morocco for his involvement in a drug trafficking network, of which he is said to be one of the leaders.
The police report and minutes are made available to the justice system for his extradition to Morocco.
