Interpol Fugitive Arrested at Malaga Airport: Moroccan Man Wanted for Drug Trafficking

The Spanish police arrested on Sunday at Malaga airport a 38-year-old Moroccan who was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the Italian authorities for drug trafficking offenses.
The Moroccan was identified at the document control post at Malaga airport. He arrived on the Costa del Sol on a flight from Casablanca, the national police said in a statement. After consulting his database, the agent found that the suspect was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the Italian judicial authorities. The accused was actively wanted for drug, narcotic and psychotropic trafficking offenses, reports El Espanol.

In the same week, the police also arrested in Benalmádena in the province of Malaga, a 29-year-old Italian citizen, also under an international arrest warrant issued against him by the judicial authorities of his country. He was wanted for numerous crimes, including drug trafficking.
