Interpol Fugitive Arrested in Marrakech: Lebanese National Wanted for Fraud

A Lebanese national was arrested on Sunday evening in Marrakech during a security operation carried out by the elements of the judicial police brigade.
The fingerprint operation on the database of wanted persons revealed that the individual is the subject of an international arrest warrant, issued by an Arab country, Kech24 reported.
The person in question, who was apprehended on Boulevard Hassan II, is being prosecuted for fraud offenses, the exact nature of which is unknown, the local media continues.
The foreign national was taken into custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, pending the extradition procedure in force.
