Gendarmerie Sergeant Arrested for Alleged International Drug Trafficking Ties

Abrupt end to the professional career of a gendarme who, according to the daily Assabah, was arrested by the national brigade of the same corps. The young agent who was hoping to be promoted would be involved in an international drug trafficking case. An analysis carried out on his phone allowed him to be linked to this criminal network with which he had regular telephone exchanges.

Stationed in Laâyoune before the outbreak of this affair, the accused was transferred to Rabat where he will be the subject of a more in-depth investigation.
