Galatasaray Star Belhanda Weighs Future Amid Saudi Interest
Younès Belhanda and Galatasaray are dominating the Turkish championship with two games to go. The Moroccan international was even the decisive passer on the first goal in the match that allowed Galatasaray to win the Turkish Cup against Akhisarspor (3-1) last Thursday, May 16. And already, the question is being asked whether the player will leave or stay with the Istanbul club.
Will Younès Belhanda leave Galatasaray or not? Like several media outlets, Le360 Sport, which is also asking the question, notes that "each day brings its share of rumors and contradictions" about the future of the Moroccan international.
Le360 mainly reports that the Atlas Lion is "in contact with Al-Ittihad Jeddah and would be interested in the 6 million euros per year that the Saudi club is offering him."
However, the Turkish press suggests that Belhanda could well stay at Galatasaray. It is notably Digital sporx who writes that "the Galatasaray coach would have asked the Moroccan player to stay until the end of the season. Even better, the club’s management would have even offered Belhanda a salary increase. An offer to which the former Montpellier player would not be insensitive."
In any case, the days and weeks to come will tell us more about the future of the Franco-Moroccan player.
