Galatasaray’s Younès Belhanda Attracts Interest from Saudi Club Al Ittihad
Moroccan international Younès Belhanda is on the radar of Al Ittihad of Jeddah. The Saudi club, despite its financial difficulties, wants to secure the services of the disgraced Atlas Lion with the Galatasaray management.
The player’s recent performances, marked by three goals scored during the month of December, have not helped to rehabilitate him with the club’s officials. They have put him on the transfer list. The reason is his outburst during the defeat of the Turkish champion against Real Madrid last October.
Witnesses to the midfielder’s performances, several clubs have made offers to the Turkish club, the most serious of which comes from Rubin Kazan. The latest offer comes from the Saudi club, Ittihad of Jeddah where the Moroccan Karim El Ahmadi plays and which has just let another compatriot, Manuel Da Costa, go after months of unpaid salaries.
The management of Al Ittihad of Jeddah has made an official offer to their counterpart of Galatasaray whose content is not known, reports CNNTurk. According to the same source, the Turkish club would like to recover 10 million euros in this transfer for a player whose contract runs until June 2021.
