Moroccan Defender Manuel da Costa Exits Saudi Club Al Ittihad Amid Payment Issues

The Moroccan international, Manuel da Costa, has terminated his contract with the Saudi club, Al Ittihad, and has left the Gulf kingdom.
Manuel da Costa is no longer in Saudi Arabia. He has left unexpectedly. The club will soon issue a press release to explain the player’s situation, who has not been paid for several months, according to the Saudi press.
Transferred to Al Ittihad in January 2019, the Moroccan player has 22 games to his credit with 4 goals and one assist.
Two other teammates of the Atlas Lion, including his compatriot Karim El Ahmadi, as well as the Serbian international Aleksandar Prijović, are also on their way out and threaten to follow in the footsteps of Manuel da Costa if they do not receive their salaries in the coming days, the same source said.
