Galatasaray’s Younès Belhanda Sparks Controversy with High Salary Demands Amid Transfer Talks

The Moroccan international, Younès Belhanda, on his way out of Galatasaray, is provoking the anger of the officials by driving up the bidding with the clubs interested in his performances.
At odds with his club’s staff, the Atlas Lion had agreed to leave Galatasaray. Except that Younès Belhanda is not moving things forward. According to the Turkish press, the Moroccan player would be in full negotiation with the Saudis of Al Ittihad Jeddah and would have demanded a staggering salary for a possible transfer.
As a result, the Moroccan midfielder has had his request rejected, thus causing a huge anger among the Galatasaray leaders.
A year earlier, the Saudi club Al Ittihad, which has been following Younès Belhanda for several months, would have made an offer of 7 million euros in January 2019. This proposal did not interest the Istanbulites, who are demanding at least 10 million euros to let the 29-year-old midfielder go, whose contract runs until 2021, the same source specifies.
