Galatasaray Fines Moroccan Star Belhanda €150,000 After On-Field Incident

Younès Belhanda will not soon forget his stint at Galatasaray. The Moroccan international, in addition to his exit pass which comes under bad conditions, must pay a fine of 150,000 euros that the Turkish club has imposed on him.
Younès Belhanda, the former Montpellier player, had lost his temper last February during the Galatasaray-Fenerbahce match. He triggered a general brawl that led to his expulsion from the field before the end of the match. Since this incident, he had been in bad standing with his club. He was even asked to "find a club before the start of the season," reports Hespress.
Under contract until 2021, the club is ready to part with the player for the sum of 5 million euros. According to the Turkish press, clubs are lining up at the door. "The latest comes from Italy, from Sampdoria, which would have already contacted Galatasaray’s management to start negotiations." Al-Nassr has also expressed the desire to recruit the player and would be ready "to put his hand in his pocket to pay the exit bonus of the Moroccan international," specifies the same source.
