Galatasaray Set to Offload Moroccan Midfielder Younès Belhanda in Summer Transfer Window

The Moroccan international Younès Belhanda should leave the ranks of his club, "Galatasaray", during the summer transfer window, his coach having pushed him towards the exit. He has been placed on the list of outgoing players by the club’s management, after spending two seasons with the Süper Lig champion.
Belhanda, who has just had a bad experience at the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) with the "Atlas Lions", will have to turn to the many proposals from Gulf clubs, particularly the Saudi Arabian championship. During the winter transfer window, the player had received offers from Saudi clubs, all of which were rejected by the Galatasaray coach, despite the agreement of the club’s management. A return to the French championship is also not to be ruled out.
In order to prepare the club for the European Champions League, the Turkish team’s coach, Fatih Terim, has decided to inject new blood, by recruiting the Colombian Radamel Falcao, the Spaniard Diego Costa and a Belgian international, while dispensing with the services of four players, including the midfielder of the "Atlas Lions".
Born in Avignon in 1990, Younès Belhanda is a Moroccan-born international footballer. He started in the ranks of the French club Montpellier, before joining Dynamo Kiev in 2013 and Schalke 04 for a season. In 2016, he joined Galatasaray.
